Touchstone Racing joined Racewerkz Motorsports at Buttonwillow Raceway last week for an important test session in preparation for the upcoming USA Porsche Carrera Cup season.
Because Carrera Cup North America runs exclusively on Yokohama racing tires, we focused on adapting the car’s suspension and overall setup to the characteristics of the new tires. Throughout the day, we tested several adjustments, gathered valuable data, and continued refining the car to find more grip, balance and performance.
Test days are about making incremental improvements, and the session gave us a much better sense of what the car needs as we prepare for the season ahead.
