Touchstone and the 2025 Porsche Racing Season

Keeping the Momentum Going

Our success in the 2024 Porsche Sports Cup Suisse Race Series, which included 4 top 10 finishes at historic Formula 1 tracks including Paul Ricard in France, Portimao in Portugal, and Mugello in Italy, and a 2nd place finish in the 2-hour endurance race at Portima, has inspired us to dig deep and step up our training and car setup testing to gain the knowledge we need to be able to run for wins in 2026.  We’ve started a testing schedule that includes test days at Buttonwillow “The Circuit”, Sonoma Raceway, and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, to gain the knowledge and practice we need to move to the front next year.

Buttonwillow’s new track called simply “The Circuit” is technical without fuss, rewarding drivers who link it into a single flow. Launch down the front straight, trail brake deep into Turn 1 to rotate, carry speed through the quick left-right, then settle the car for the long, loaded right arc on the back side with little or no braking before a hard burst along the short chute. A faster than it looks left feeds into a tighter than it looks, decreasing radius right and a fast straight. The lap compresses in the final complex: an off balance, trail braked right into a tight 2nd gear right that needs all the rotation you can get for a clean exit, then it opens into a fast right and fast left onto the straight — patience on entry pays with a strong run.
