The four-seat Robinson R44 builds on the proven R22 design, offering greater capacity and performance for flight schools, commercial operations, and private owners. Choose between the R44 Raven I, powered by a carbureted Lycoming O-540 engine (225 hp), or the R44 Raven II, featuring a fuel-injected Lycoming IO-540 (245 hp) for better high-altitude performance and payload.

The Raven I delivers exceptional value for training, sightseeing, and personal transport. Its carbureted O-540 engine produces 225 hp for take-off, enabling cruise speeds to 110 kts (127 mph) while burning just 14–16 gph. The Raven II adds 20 hp via a fuel-injected IO-540, raising the max gross weight to 2,500 lb (1,134 kg) and boosting performance in hot-and-high conditions.
